Notice: Road construction work and traffic restrictions at Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord [Update 9 September 2023]
Arrival by public transport
Due to the barrier-free extension of the stop »Landschaftspark Nord«, the trams of line 903 cannot currently stop at the stop »Landschaftspark Nord«. Please use the stop »Brückelstraße« or the bus lines 909 and 910 at the substitute stops »Landschaftspark Nord« instead.

Access by car
Access to the Duisburg-Nord Lanschaftspark via Neumühler Straße (B 8) has been reopened to car traffic and cyclists, but Neumühler Straße is a one-way street in this area. Traffic can only travel south from the north (from Hamborn or from the A42, Neumühl exit). It is possible to turn right into Emscherstraße.
Coming from Emscherstraße, it is also possible to turn back into Neumühler Straße, but only to the right, heading south (towards Meiderich and Ruhrort/ Häfen).

The Aktiengesellschaft für Hüttenbetrieb was founded by August Thyssen in the north of Duisburg in 1902. The 200-hectare site was home to five blast furnaces as well as a pit, a sintering plant, a coking plant and a foundry. The Kraftzentrale, Gebläsehalle and Gießhalle have been restored and reused for cultural events.
