I read this book and always have a quiet pain in my heart.

The beauty of the language, the way of describing this life, the deep truth that makes me believe that it is possible to express the most complicated and incompatible things of our lives.

In this book is hidden one of the most beautiful and painful love stories I know, surrounded by a universe of stories, history, splintery impressions, associative meandering, biography tells how human beings are able to experience their own lifes, the doubt and gloom in broad daylight, the memories that haunt you unasked.

Written in a language capable of dissection and yet keeping in check the images that spill out from behind the cut.

In addition, inspired by the book, I have probably dealt with the history of the Baltic States, with Lithuania, for the first time.

Oh, that will keep me busy for a long time. Again and again, one knows so terribly nothing ...
