The stranger asks questions because he is trying to understand. Questions that line the route to the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord. Questions about the past and future of the region and the work that made it, questions about the relationship between art and coal mining, about the relationship between power and nature. And about how the Ruhr region is related to the world: because coal mining is still going on – just not in Duisburg. But it is, for example, in South America, from where Lisandro Rodríguez is sending us these questions.
