With the new podcast series ZEIT für Kultur, theatre people, festival organisers, exhibition curators and other cultural professionals take us behind the scenes of their work. They shine the spotlight on the crucial debates of culture in the field of tension in society as a whole. What moves them? What inspires them? And how does culture contribute to addressing the big issues of our time with creative thought-provoking impulses?
The first regular episode of the ZEIT für Kultur podcast is part of a trio around this year's Ruhrtriennale. It is about how we humans live with each other and how we change in the course of social development. Artistic director Barbara Frey talks about her work on Arthur Schnitzler's play Das weite Land and how culture influences our coexistence. Alternative concepts will be presented by director Łukasz Twarkowski with his work Respublika and the Ruhrtriennale's head dramaturge for dance, performance and drama, Judith Gerstenberg, with Euphoria by Julian Rosefeldt.
