The resonance of understatement, the tactility of memory, the sustain of the ephemeral and the minor details that are captured in the most detailed manner. It is exactly that spirit which I aspire for when interpreting music and though Sebald's genius will forever be out of my reach, it will nevertheless always remain a comforting beacon in the maze of time and memory.
