At this time I am reading Andrej Tarkovskys book Sculpting in Time. In this book Andrej Tarkovsky talks about his passion and the meaning of cinema as an art form. And also what influence cinema has on human beings. 

One of my favourite lines from the book is this:

»Vaizdas – ne viena ar kita režisieriaus išreikšta prasmė, o vandens laše atsispindintis visas pasaulis.«

In English:

»Image – it's not one or the other side of a director, but rather a reflection of the entire world in a single drop of water.«
