A book springs quickly to mind that seems very important to me, especially in these times of polarisation, political correctness, image concerns and shitstorm angst on the part of institutions and artists. Its simplicity keeps it relevant for me. I would like to see more courage and aggressiveness on the part of artists and institutions in confronting the realities of the world. Art becomes irrelevant without contradictions - at least in my opinion.
