In their work 4. Halbzeit, Wermke/Leinkauf deal with the phenomenon of the participation of organised football fans in socio-political uprisings. From the Gezi Park revolt in Istanbul to the riots on the Maidan in Kyiv, football fans played a central role. Wermke/Leinkauf show fascinating images of Europe's largest youth subculture between fascination and horror. » more information
