Even before the official program release for the Ruhrtriennale 2021, we give insights into the literature that accompanies the artists invited by us through the pandemic.

In the coming weeks and months, the submissions will be used to create a digital library of works that played a special role for the artists in times of closed theaters, museums, opera houses and concert halls by serving as both refuge and dialogue partners. In the summer, this digital library will be transformed into a real library that will be accessible to our visitors and invites them to browse through.
